Lattice Lacing (Lug version)
A lug version of Lattice Lacing. Great for boots and sneakers with a wide gap, this very popular method forms a neat woven lattice in the middle of the lacing.
This picture of of Lug Lattice Lacing was sent to me by Meredith P. More Lacing Photos	Lacing Technique: 1. The lace runs straight across the bottom (grey section) and up through both bottom lugs. 2. Cross the ends over and feed through the 2nd pair of lugs from the top of the shoe (skip past 1 pair of lugs). 3. Cross the ends over and feed through the 2nd pair of lugs from the bottom of the shoe. 4. Cross the ends over and feed through the top pair of lugs (skip past 1 pair of lugs). Features: Very popular! Decorative look Harder to tighten Comparative Length = 121% Laced area uses more (about +21%) Longer laces needed (about +9%) Shortens lace ends (about −15%) More details
TIP: It's easier to do the weaving and get all the "Overs" and "Unders" correct if you firstly lace one end all the way to the top of the shoe. For example, complete the left (blue) end, then weave the right (yellow) end in and out.
